Debra Williams started her career as an underwriter at Lombard North Central, before moving on to the Britannia Building Society and the data company NCR.
Debra has worked at a management level at some the UK’s best-known businesses including Confused.com and Tesco Compare. During her time as Managing Director of Confused.com, Debra built the business into one of the UK’s leading aggregator sites attracting over 60,000 hits per day and generating profits of £36 million. Debra was Welsh Woman of the Year for Innovation in 2006 and in 2007 was recognised by the Queen as one of the UK’s top 200 business women.
