Darren Williams

Darren Williams is Software Engineer Manager for Wesley Clover. He has a wide technical background gained over a 10 year period in the industry. Upon graduating from UWE in Bristol with a first class in Digital Media BSc he went on to graduate from the Alacrity Programme before joining Wesley Clover.
Darren provides development support and knowledge to the companies within the Wesley Clover portfolio based here at the WCIC and thrives off learning new technologies. He has a strong understanding for all levels of development from concept to concrete and adapts with ease depending where support is needed with each company.
He also mentors the Alacrity Foundation entrepreneurs as well as advocating the foundation through university contact to aid recruitment. Before becoming involved in tech, Darren spent 12 years in the steel industry in and around Newport.
